Keren Navarro
President, Twig & a Feather, Inc.
Keren Andra Navarro spent her life absorbing cultural richness, beauty and ethnic
diversity from living in South America, Japan and 9 U.S. states. She further
extended her knowledge by marrying a Filipino, thus adding another rich culture to
her list. She credits her talents to her Grandmother, a sculptor, and her
Italian Grandfather, an artist.
She has been a party designer in Hollywood, an ice cream cake sculptor for Haagen-Daz,
creating 3 dimensional cakes for 10 years, a window display designer, and for the past
11 years creating designs in Faux. She recently opened her studio and school,
Twig And A Feather Inc., in a Chicago suburb.
Keren was invited to be one of 12 artists to demo at the recent 2006 World of Concrete
Convention in Las Vegas, where she wowed the crowds with her concrete wall.
A previous 2 time award winner at the Fauxcademy 2002 and Vaulted Secrets artist in
2004, she is back, to leave you with a showing of her 3 dimensional work,
"Bella Vite Di Uvi", Beautiful Grape Vines. These will be executed in both faux
and concrete products, showing the diversity of both.
