"The Artistry of Executing Large Scale Murals, from Concept to Completion"
Randy Ingram & Brian Townsend
The process of creating large scale artwork has been around for centuries, and this oversized, imaginative way of expression has continued to the present day.  Today's exciting business climate offers unlimited financial and creative opportunities for the mural or trompe l'oeil artist, but effectively executing a concept that was perhaps doodled on scrap paper and bringing the vision to life is a story unto itself.  There are numerous factors and sometimes countless unforeseen variables that happen throughout the so-called "processes."  Situations can arise from the initial planning stage, the drafting stage, the bloc-in, or even in the last stage, which is the completion of the masterpiece.

In this day and age, one thing is for sure: being a talented artist is not enough.  The truth is... you must become a solid business person, sometimes you have to become a psychologist or play hand-holder, and if these rolse aren't enough, you have to become the client's creative genesis.  But this is just part of the story.

Randy and Brian use their personal narrative and visual format to deliver this enthralling mural process, which also includes enriched client stories and antidotes.  Attendees will gain new insight about the painting challenges that most likely will confront the mural artist at any given time.  This sound advice will be very beneficial in creating large scale artwork within the decorative finishing industry.
